Due to some security issues with the version of Dot Net Nuke we were using, our service provider advised us to upgrade to a more secure version of our software. As of February 2cd, we have made a major upgrade from DNN4.9.5 to DNN5.6.7. There may be some small issues with the website while we work out any incompatibilities within the website. We thank you for your patience and understanding. We are aware that all the listed events have dissapeared from the calendar, and are working on that problem. Please look around the site, and if you find anything that did not transfer correctly, broken links, or missing maps let us know!
Look for major changes on the merchandise page in the next few weeks as well!
With almost 80 people attending, this years winter banquet was a lot of fun! After a few hours of bowling, hanging out and visiting with friends, we congregated to the banquet room for a little more socialization as well as a few presentations, Club president Walter Nowocin ushered us through a wonderful meal, and did a great job of indroducing all the officers to the members, as well as direct the course of the evening. With so many door prizes to be won, many members took home a prize. Thanks to Larry and Dave for butchering all of our names!!!! Special thanks to Mitch for sourcing the cake and setting up the regalia. We also want to give thanks to Sundance Golf and Bowl for providing such a fantastic venue and a wonderful meal. We hope everyone had a great time and hope to see you all again next year!

Thank you Northstar Camaro Club!
Once again the membership of the club exceeded our expectations. The club donated $300, and matched another $300 when members stepped in and provided another $750 in donations for an incredible $1350 to buy toys with! Thank you to everyone that participated, and we know that your spirit and generosity will provide some very needy kids with some much needed joy.
The North Star Camaro Club once again teamed up with KARE 11 to help the United States Marine Corps reserve with Toys for Tots. On December 17th, a dozen of us met at Target in St. Anthony to buy baskets of toys. The staff at the St Anthony Target were helpful, and through another promotional event we were able to garner another $170 in gift cards from the Target corporation which the Marine reservists can use to buy even more toys! Thank you everyone, and have a wonderful holiday!
Toys for Tots is one of the longest running programs in the United States which donates toys to children whose parents cannot afford to buy them gifts for Christmas. Founded in 1947 in Los Angeles, the Toys for Tots stated goal is to "deliver, through a new toy at Christmas, a message of hope to less fortunate youngsters that will assist them in becoming responsible, productive, patriotic citizens."

Hello. Shari and Joel Ellingson are dear friends of ours and we wanted to express our THANK YOU to your club for giving them such a wonderful day filled with lasting memories on December 10. When Shari told me about Joel''s wish my husband suggested she contact you and while we knew you all would do something special for them but we were overwhelmed with the outpouring of blessings you brought to them. I had tears in my eyes when I read the post and saw the pictures on Joel''s caring bridge. You gave of ourselves to bring a special blessing to the Ellingson family. Again THANK YOU! (BTW - we restored a 1977 Camaro for our son when he was in high school, and owned two others over the years)

On Saturday the 10th of December, some very kind and dedicated club members made the trek to Mankato to help fulfill a long held wish for Joel Ellingson. He had always wanted to own a Camaro, but things never worked out that way. Unfortunetly, Joel is suffering from cancer, and has run out of time to chase that dream. His wife Shari contacted us a few weeks back to see if anyone might come down and talk cars with him, and perhaps even bring a Camaro down and take him for a ride. With her direct and honest letter, Club President revved up some incredible response from the membership, and was able to one up Shari's request. With a huge turnout of members and cars, local community support, and even help from the Chevy dealer in Mankato (Mankato Motors) with a 'test drive' of a brand new 2012 Camaro, Shari was able to give Joel a pretty nice surprise. We were honored to be able to help.
